Covid-19 Information

Please refer to the Government's latest advice or the NHS website. You may also find the Amadeus Trust's Risk Assessment to be of some help, as well as an update from Public Health Bexley. (All School documents regarding coronavirus can be found at the bottom of this page.)

If you or your child are showing any symptoms related to Covid-19, please refer to the NHS and Government guidance (please see the links above).

If your child receives a positive test result for Covid-19, please inform the school as soon as possible.  This will enable us to respond as rapidly as possible in advising the rest of our community on any action they may need to take.  During school hours, you should call the school on 020 8311 5177

If you get a positive test result, outside of school hours, please e-mail: stating your child’s full name, year level and class. This option should ONLY be used if you receive a positive test result for your child from the NHS.

At this time of year, some children may be displaying mild cold-like symptoms which are not consistent with the NHS guidance re Covid-19.  If this is the case, parents need to decide whether their child is fit enough to attend school or whether they need to rest at home for a period of time.  However, if your child is displaying any of the symptoms outlined on the NHS link above then you must keep your child off school and organise a COVID test as soon as possible.

Covid-19 'Catch up' Premium

The school has received the Department for Education's Covid-19 catch-up premium for 2020-21.  Schools are using this funding for specific activities to support their children to catch up for lost teaching due to Covid-19 school closures to most children.

The grant will be spent on providing high-quality catch-up sessions that focus on areas of learning that children need to catch up on.

  • Autumn term 2020:  reading focus
  • Spring term 2021: maths focus.
  • Summer term 2021: dependant on assessments that will be carried out in the Spring term 21.

This is how we will assess the educational attainment of the pupils on whom it is spent: The school assesses all children in a multitude of ways and on a regular basis.  These assessments support us in deciding how best to spend the catch-up premium.
