Pupil Performance

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all Key Tests and tasks were cancelled in 2019/20. They are also cancelled in 2020/21.

Pupil Performance Information – 2019 Key Stage 2 Outcomes

Please note:

  • The first row of results shows the proportion of all children at Castilion Primary School who reached the 'Expected Standard' for their age at the end of Key Stage 2.
  • The second row shows the proportion of all pupils who were deemed to have achieved a 'higher standard'.
  • The third row shows an average of all children’s ‘scaled scores’ (effectively, their numerical test result). A score of 100 (or above) is considered to be 'at the Expected Standard’.
  • The fourth row shows the average progress made. For example, a score of -4 would mean that on average pupils achieved 4 scaled scores less than other pupils nationally with similar starting points.
  • The figures in brackets are the 2019 national average figures from all schools in the country.
